Arenzano (Ge) – Pineta di Arenzano – Via della Rotonda - COMPLESSO LE CASACCE – "Le Casacce is a collection of single-family villas situated a short distance from each other on a green hillside overlooking the sea, known as 'La Rotonda' due to its circular geographical aspect. Architect Caccia Dominioni, captivated by the beauty of the lot, envisioned a kind of 'family village' (one of these villas is still inhabited by his relatives), where the need for unity was realized while each family unit could enjoy its own private and autonomous space: hence the orientation of the gardens, individual windows, and entrances. Caccia paid great attention to the care of the interiors (still preserved with great merit and perfectly intact in some homes), while for the exteriors he considered the nature of the landscape, the incidence of light, and the strength of the wind with reverence. -VILLA “L’ ABBRACCIO” - When I went for the photo shoot, I spent nearly 4 hours in the residence: the peace, absolute privacy, the chirping of birds, the gentle breeze, the 360° view; all of this and much more gave me the feeling of a tender and loving embrace.
