This stunning family-owned winery, founded in 1988, spans 10 hectares of fertile land in the heart of the volcanic Colli Albani region. The privileged location, characterized by mineral-rich soils and marine influences, imparts a unique character and distinctive minerality to the wines. The winery is dedicated to producing single-varietal wines from indigenous grapes, with two labels currently available: Malvasia Puntinata and Grechetto, both at 100%. Additionally, there are vineyards of Trebbiano, Chardonnay, and Merlot (which are not currently vinified directly).
The vines, aged between 16 and 49 years, are cultivated using organic practices certified since 2022, ensuring the utmost quality and respect for the environment. In fact, in the vineyard, fertilization occurs through green manuring, a practice that involves sowing various plant species and legumes that release nutrients into the soil, which are then absorbed by the vines. The vines are trained using the Guyot system. In the cellar, no chemical or animal-derived products are used, common in many wineries for clarification and protein stabilization.
Since 2019, winemaking has been natural, using indigenous yeasts and spontaneous fermentation. The use of sulfites is minimal (less than 50 mg/l). The winery benefits from the invaluable collaboration of an experienced oenologist. From the beginning, the wines have received significant accolades, a fundamental aspect that has given the winery the energy to continue with even more conviction.
Among the awards received are those from the Vitae guide of AIS, the 4 bunches from the Bibenda guide of FIS, a WineHunter award, and selection for the Merano Wine Festival. The wines are also featured in Veronesi's guide, and the winery eagerly awaits the release of upcoming guides. The 2019 vintage received the Golden Star from the Vini Buoni d’Italia guide (Touring Club Italiano), along with 4 bunches from the Bibenda guide and three vines from the Vitae guide. The same recognition was achieved with the 2020 vintage of Grechetto (Golden Star Vini Buoni d’Italia).
The 2021 vintage received the highest recognition from the IL VINO PER TUTTI guide and the GUIDA BIO. With the 2022 vintage, they received the Corona, the highest recognition from the Vini Buoni d’Italia guide, and the Clessidra (the highest recognition from the il Vino per tutti guide). The winery, built in 2022, is equipped with state-of-the-art vinification, aging, and bottling equipment, with a production capacity of approximately 30,000 bottles annually (to ensure comfortable processing). The property also includes a splendid three-story farmhouse, constructed with high-quality materials and featuring spacious living areas and panoramic terraces, while the basement houses the production cellar, complete with a vinification room and tasting room, as well as a large storage area for agricultural equipment.
The vineyards, extending over 6. 90 hectares, are accompanied by about 100 olive trees, fruit trees, and ornamental trees.
